The house went on the market several years ago when prices were higher. Due to the decline in the housing market and the fact that there are a number of houses in the same price range and age, the house did not attract much interest. Geoff continued to phone to give me updates even though there was little interest. In retrospect I think the initial asking price was too high and it may have sold earlier if the price was lower. I was frustrated that Geoff was not keen for me to rent the house during the 4 years it remained on the market, but in retrospect I realise that untrustworthy tenants could have caused damage and reduced the value. It was difficult for me to travel to Port Broughton to keep the large garden in a reasonable state. Thankfully Geoff persevered during the COVID19 epidemic and even though the price was much less than we hoped the sale was made. Geoff was always considerate and kind.

Geoff was always in contact with us as we negotiated the purchase of our new property. He was always very pleasant to deal with.
