The start of our experience with George was very positive. Communication was great and we had people coming to the open inspections but then our property didn't sell at auction and the campaign went downhill. We felt pressured to do more and more open inspections, even though majority of inspections no one showed up. We were talked into doing a private inspection when I was recovering from a surgery I had had 2 days earlier and we had told them not to schedule any opens. After we moved out of the property and it hasn't sold, we had to pay for additional styling and more marketing photos. Communication from this point went really downhill. George didn't have a plan for how to sell the unit and only suggested that we lower the price. Once the communication dropped off and there was no solid plan in place, we thought about changing real estate agents but then realised we were locked into a contact with George for 120 day post auction. We were told that this is unusual. We changed real estate agents after the 120 days and the other estate agency was able to sell the property off market for a higher price than George suggested. We were very disappointed, especially when it came to paying over $6000 without even selling the property and also causing the property to have a tarnished online history.
