George listened to what I hoped to achieve and made it happen in spite of it not being in his best interest nor accepted best practice. Theoretically we could have received more money for my house if we had gone to auction but I feel that the auction system is one of the reasons that the cost of housing is well above sensible values. It means that the richest persons always win and favours investors especially foreign investors. I accepted his argument that an auction date provides a deadline to force decisions so we did set an auction date . But George worked to encourage offers and we accepted one from a family with children which was what I had hoped for. I was happy with the amount of money which was considerable but not large enough to encourage the continued upward cost of housing in our area (I hope). George was attentive but never pushy and co operative with all my family. It has been a pleasure to work with him.
