I was adamant that I did not want to go to auction although George recommended that I do so. In accordance with my instructions George proceeded with a “private sale”. After weeks of open inspections and offers that were way off what I wanted I relented and proceeded to auction as George advised that we should get a price by auction closer to my mark On auction day the bidding was higher then previous offers made but still off the mark. I was ready to pass the property in and walk away but then the NEGOTIATOR (George) stepped in. He managed to get the purchaser up to an amount that was acceptable to me and the property was sold.
