5 Victor Russell...a Sale Made in Heaven....? Or, a journey to test both Vendor and Agent...?
5 Victor Russell Drive, according to our marketing agents and to those casual onlookers, is a great looking piece of real estate. Well located. All the horse infastructure to tempt the equine enthusiast with a couple of horses and less than 3 kms from prized Samford Village. But from the first couple of Opens it was obvious to Vendor and Agent- finding the right buyer at the right price might take time. A prolonged series of Saturday morning vacuuming, bed making and acreage mowing stints looked inevitable...although Michael, our pool maintenance professional, didn't mind the elongated sale process one little bit.!
And so the sales journey- challenging both vendor and agent- began. More than 12 months post initial Open House a contract- the only one- presented to the vendor-followed by a quick-fire settlement. Buyers settle on a Friday afternoon and consummate purchase in marriage 24 hours later...!
5 Victor Russell Drive presented superbly on Open House days. Everyone said so, according to our marketing agent. But frustratingly no buyer stepped up to the plate until we contemplate taking property off the market. Instead leasing it for at least two years, when maybe buyers might be more receptive to 5 Victor Russell Drive- home to some of the state's leading show jumpers.
Then at the 11th hour the right buyer came for a second and then a third inspection...and Georgie and her Belle Property sales team sprung into action.
It seemed like an anti-climax when our solicitor emailed 5 Victor Russell had settled....but in retrospect, Georgie and her team never lost focus.
The Sold Sign went up...and the former residents of 5 Victor Russell Drive moved on.. down the road to Armstrong Creek.
The champagne's on me Georgie Haug...although at times during the sales journey, I did contemplate, taking it off the ice...although I am certain the 5 Victor Russell Drive newly weds are glad the Sold sign took its time to go up...!
Cheers
