Gerard successfully sold our unit in Gymea at a period when the market was a little cool. He found a buyer that was prepared to pay a price we were willing to accept. Since we had not moved for over 36 years, we were very out of touch with what was needed to market and sell our home. Gerard at Southside Real Estate patiently encouraged us over the preparation time and advised on which improvements would have the biggest impact. He also helped prioritise the last minute attention-to-detail issues as time grew short in the lead up to our first Open House. Our first offer came during the half-hour Open House, with 21 groups interested in the sale. Gerard followed through with every keen buyer, finally negotiating a “sold” point within hours that left us amazed and delighted – nearly $80K more than what we expected with our most optimistic forecast.
