It’s such a big responsibility choosing a real estate agent to sell your family home. We interviewed four agents from different companies in the hope that we would get the good one. And what a great decision that was because we found Gina. She promised a huge database of potential buyers to draw from and to get the ball rolling. She promised a comprehensive approach to the job of selling with weekly written updates to us, about all the activity and with details of every buyer and how she felt they might develop. She organised and orchestrated two open houses each week before our auction, and she arranged absolutely everything to do with marketing and the auction. All the time we were free to contribute anything to the process that we wanted. There weren’t many extra things we wanted but those we suggested were all taken on board and delivered. Interest rates were rising and buyers were pulling back but on Auction Day, our house was one of just two that sold out of the 12 that had gone to auction by that company on the day.
