We purchased a property through Glen under difficult circumstances with time pressure from the vendor and we, the buyers, on the road with limited phone & internet access. Glen managed to walk the fine line between representing the vendor's best interests and getting the deal done. It was touch & go for a while but Glen battled on where many agents would have given up. We are very, very happy with our new apartment.

We went to see an open house and decided to put in an offer. We also needed early access to the garage of the new property to store essential furniture and items as settlement on the old and the new place was to happen on the same day, late in the afternoon. My partner and I purchased a property on Chevron Island from Glen in late 2014. His conduct was exemplary, of particular credit was his integrity, in which Glen always did what he said he was going to do. We had conducted a lot of research prior to meeting Glen and had identified that he had been the main agent used repeatedly, over many years, by the same dwelling; symbolising that other people had found his conduct worthy enough whilst buying a dwelling from him, to then sell their dwelling with Glen again. His name often appeared 4 or 5 times for the same property. This gave us comfort about his credibility and we knew we could take him on face value, otherwise, others wouldn't repeatedly buy and then sell through him over the years. When we are ready to purchase another property, we will be saving ourselves a lot of time by contacting Glen directly in the first instance. We haven't scored negotiation skills as there was no negotiating as we were happy to pay the asking price. I guess that's a 5 star score if the seller was scoring Glen, but honestly, we didn't deal with his negotiating ability so felt uncomfortable to score it. It is not a zero score... it is N/A for us.

As interstate buyers we relied on Glen's local knowledge when making a decision about our house. We found Glen to be generous in sharing this knowledge even before we decided to buy a house from him. He was always consistent and accessible which we appreciated given that the negotiations were done from opposite ends of the country. We would use Glen's services again.
