We purchased our first home from Glenn over 10 years ago now and I remember thinking of all the many agents we'd encountered, he came across as extremely genuine. We have just purchased another property with Glenn and I'm not surprised to say that he is just as great now as he was 10 years ago! I have never got the impression he was trying to put the hard 'sell' on us despite doing the best job he could for his client. I was dead set against viewing this property (now our home) as 'Harcourts' being the agent put me off completely. This is a little unfair, but our previous dealings with a particular Harcourts agent, who deals mainly in the Gap/Ashgrove areas, and goes by the initials CB really epitomised what a very poor agent is. (Unresponsive, no communication, looks of disdain when asking slightly challenging (exposing) questions, saying anything to sell a property). To say the least, we were pretty fed-up with viewing dozens of properties as a whole and dealing with the major a**holes. After a week of viewing the property online, time and time again, I decided to call Glenn. Surprisingly, he was friendly, very courteous. I met Glenn at the property on the day of the torrential downpours fro remnants of Cyclone Debbie. One agent had already cancelled on me that morning for a viewing in the Gap (Ray White) due to the weather. I met with Glenn later that morning, as the weather worsened, at our viewing, on time. Glenn was brilliant! A smashing bloke who immediately made me feel at ease and understanding that this was the biggest purchase of our lives. Any question I had, he answered with a sincere response that sounded honest, and to date, everything he said has been bang-on and true (apart from the neighbour opposite us, across the road, who are a bit weird and turn their backs when I wave or acknowledge them......am sure Glenn said they were ok!!!!!). But in all honesty, he is a diamond who should be congratulated and rewarded for being such a fantastic diplomat and representative for Harcourts. Remember, I thought you were all a**holes until I met Glenn! And, we have met with alot of agents from different realtors. Sorry for slight profanity, but this is my opinion. If all agents behaved and acted as Glenn did, real estate agents would have a much better reputation. His face is one that belongs on an advertising billboard, rather than the ones whose smirk back at you. Well done
