This is a true benefit of an real estate agent, someone that wants to build a long term relationship based around trust and honesty rather than simply quoting the highest price possible for a quick sale and more often than not seeing the results come in below par fracturing the vendor-agent relationship. I have to admit that the sale price was closer to what he quoted than what my 'hopeful' figure was. I would also like to make comment that a significant (external) issue arose during the day of the auction which created a great deal of stress for me and the agents.
