No amount of awards makes this agent work for the vendor.
It started off OK with Graham. We seemed to share some common ground in rescuing parrots.
I believe that he took advantage of that common ground.
I was warned about the agency but unfortunately I had already I signed the listing agreement.
Graham wasn’t attentive to the sale of my property at all. Hardly anyone was shown the property even though they had keys. He was constantly contacting me to drop the price of my house. You can draw your own conclusions as to why.
He was always in a hurry when dealing with me. Missing appointments by hours on multiple occasions. Then rushing through things because he had to be somewhere else.
The attention to detail was lacking. No care or measures were taken when my property was wind damaged.
One neighbour said that they did virtually nothing to facilitate the sale.
Another neighbour had nothing positive to say about him.
They lost a set of keys and locked themselves, and others, out of the house on several occasions.
The agency lost my bank details and I had to send it to them several times.
The sign that they put out the front of the house and the newspaper advertising was primarily promoting themselves, not my property even though I paid for it.
The maintenance guy he uses did NOT complete the works he was contracted to do but still expected the same amount of “cash” money. He was also keen to raid my garden for plants.
The support team leaves a lot to be desired as they overpaid me by nearly 10K and then called and sent me repeated emails, to the point of harassment, to recover the money.
I believe that no amount of awards can make a real estate agent be on the side of the vendor.
I would never recommend this agency to anyone after my costly and negative experience.
His office contacted me to write a positive review about him and when I told them that I wasn’t very happy they made no attempt to ask why, proving to me that they were not interested in my issues in dealing with him.
