Grant Schmidt
With the beginning of a new chapter of life on the horizon, my wife and I decided it was time to sell our current home and find a new one closer to family. Whilst an exciting adventure awaited, the prospect of finding and working with a real estate agent to sell our house filled us with trepidation due to some unpleasant past experiences. One morning we received a knock on our door, and there stood Grant, who introduced himself without pushing any agenda or services. He purely wanted to get to know us, and noted he had recently joined Place as an agent. Intrigued by this friendly introduction, we called him several hours later to arrange an appraisal. That very afternoon he was sitting in our living room where we soon realised that any sort of "unease" we had previously experienced with agents was non-existent with Grant. If you are expecting a 'typical' real estate agent, that's exactly what you won't get with him. He was the exact opposite of our past experiences, so we decided to take the leap and sign him on to sell our house. Where agents we'd previously met had been cold and clinical, he was warm and friendly. Where others were striving to make more money for their commission, he was truly dedicated to ensuring that the process for us was as simple and seamless as possible. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He knows the area and the people who live in Mount Cotton so well that we knew he could honestly and truthfully talk up all the points of the house and the surrounding area that we have come to love so much over the last few years. He was always professional, which we have not seen in so many others. His positivity and dedication to the job were unlike anything we've seen in some of the "best real estate agents in Brisbane." My wife and I would encourage anyone looking for a great agent to trust Grant with selling their home. Hey, if we ever need to sell again, we'll probably be calling him up to see how far he can commute.
