Upon arriving in Port Macquarie five years ago, we purchased a home sold by Greg Bates from Elders Real Estate. Two years later we sold this house, once again with Greg’s expertise. At the same time we purchased our current home, as we were downsizing. Two months ago we decided to move yet again and naturally phoned Greg who organised all the necessary paperwork. Unfortunately the home we were contemplating fell through and we recently found another. I phoned Greg at 4pm on Thursday to inform him that our house was on the market. The very next morning the large adverting sign which had been printed in Sydney was erected and Greg suggested that he have an open house on the Saturday. With only advertising by way of social media, the open house proceeded and an appointment was made for the following Monday. The home was sold on the Monday, contract exchanged three days later and settlement to take place in (35 )days time. I doubt anybody else could list and sell a house in (4) days.
