Greg has been in real estate for many years and understands the market well. He is familiar with our area and has given us good advice previously when purchasing another property. We decided to use Walkom Real Estate this time to sell and requested Greg assist us. The experience and process was relatively smooth and quick. We did not quite achieve our expected price. Settlement is in a month, hopefully all goes well.

We engaged Greg to sell our house at Merewether and, put simply, were delighted with the whole experience. Not all real estate agents are created equal (or emerge from the same "real estate school"). It is true that you need a potential buyer to be remotely interested in your home to first show up at the open home or pick up the phone and make an inquiry (and Greg himself will tell you that!). But, once the potential buyer makes contact and indicates a level of interest, this is when Greg shines and this is when it pays (literally) to have a decent agent on your side. The negotiation part of closing a deal takes skill and experience and Greg has that in spades. I do not hesitate to recommend Greg. He plays it cool, but he's 'all over it' and kept me updated every step of the way. All too often, I myself have shown up to an open house to be greeted by an arrogant douchbag - even when the house is amazing, there's something in human nature which means it turns you right off. If you want your buyers to be greeted with warmth and made to feel like they are "home" (and frankly isn't that what you want when you are selling a home?!)... then Greg is your man.

We purchased our property recently through Greg. The process was easy and Greg maintained communication with us at all times. He went out of his way to work around our schedule to help us with the purchase and if he didn’t know the answer to a question straight off the bat, he got back to us promptly with the answer. Greg gave a realistic price when we first went to market but we went with another agent at a price $100K higher. This was during the fall of the market and we chased the pricing as it fell. I finally engaged Greg and we went in around his original estimate in a continually falling market. At the very bottom we sold..12 months after entering the market. My thanks for Greg hanging in there with us for the dreadful ride and giving is the 'real' truth during the drop in pricing. If we went in at his original price, I think we would have been far better off and not have lost our 'wealth' in real estate. Thanks Greg..big time.
