After initially signing with another agency, Greig came in and gave us another appraisal and believed that we could get more than what was previously stated. He said that it would be better if the market give us an indication for a price. He said that he would take our property to Auction and as we had no prior experience with Auctions we were a little tentative. Greig is a real salesman, we caved and went with it. Unfortunately Covid-19 interrupted everything and restrictions were placed upon us but he soldiered through and kept us up to date. Unfortunately, another spanner was thrown into the mix and we had to have the Auction stopped. He persevered and carried on regardless. At the end of the day we had two interested parties and he kept us informed on the situation - exchange took place and it was a blessing. 7 months on the market seems a long time but due to the circumstances of Covid-19, we were very happy as we realise the restrictions would be a hindrance. We actually were offered more than we expected hence the acceptance of the offer. We realised just how much knowledge he did have with the end result as we weren't so confident.
