Hi Hamish, Your manner is pleasant and professional. You managed the ill-feeling between Cherryn and me adeptly. Amber showed insight into your appointment to manage our sale. Cherryn likes to interact with men and you were calm and diplomatic with her. You achieved a good and fair price for the unit. I suspect $570,000 was achievable if the unit was presented optimally and Cherryn and I were strategic in our interactions. Concerns: * Amber told Cherryn initially that I said that Cherryn could choose the RE agent to sell Mum's unit. I hadn't and this cause problems for me. * To get Cherryn to sign the RE agreement Amber told Cherryn that there was a potential buyer who had unlimited funds (paraphrasing). Amber told me she said this to get Cherryn to sign the agreement - ethics? * You prepared a contract for $520,000 which was a low figure from which to negotiate. I told you I would sell the unit to Cherryn for $520,000 but my minimum was $540,000. As I said at the time, there is no logic in paying RE commission to achieve minimum price. I felt that your interest was with the purchaser once the RE agreement was signed. * I hoped that Cherryn and I could use the acrimony between us to drive the price up. I was surprised that Cherryn agreed to $560,000 immediately until you told me that you told Cherryn that you negotiated Mari up from $515,000 - ethics? Otherwise, my experience with Amber Werchon was efficient and painless with a pleasing outcome - thank you Michele Quirk
