I chose Hans and Harcourts Boronia as I liked the structured campaign plan. Everything went exactly as Hans had said it would, down to the day of sale. I was not pushed to overspend on unnecessary marketing. I believe Hans negotiated well and I am very pleased with the result.

Hans assisted in the sale of my mother in law's house in Boronia. Hans was courteous and professional and knew the local area well. He gave us a realistic expectation of price and process and he was personally involved with the entire process. The house sold quickly just as Hans predicted it would and we were very happy with the final price. Hans communicated offers to us quickly and he was able to nogotiate a good price. We had known of Hans for a year or so before the sale process (we lived in the same street), and his advice on pre-sale preparations for best presentation were invaluable. (What NOT to do as well as what to do.) When the sales campaign started, Hans was very professional, suggesting what we felt was appropriate advertising in several media, organizing and choosing effective photographic coverage and then creating an excellent web presence on all the appropriate sites. The process of 11 open-for-inspections was tedious, but handled with good grace, and when an offer eventuated, Hans negotiated a welcome lift over the original offer. While we would have liked a higher final figure, we realized that although the house was very attractive and well presented, the physical limitations of a sloping block on a corner, with access via one steep driveway, probably deterred many potential purchasers. In the end we finished up with a contract at 98% of our asking price, and a short settlement time. Overall Hans was a good person to deal with and we would heartily recommend his services to other vendors.
We found Hans Brenkman through an advertising board at the front of a property we were looking at, and he promptly came to see us to assess or needs. He was friendly and courteous from the start, which put us at ease through the whole process of selling our property. We had accumulated such a large amount of possessions, as well as the contents of a 'deceased estate' which we had yet to deal with, that would have caused anyone in Han's position to realise that he had quite a job ahead to make the 'sale'. We had decided to de- clutter and move to a smaller, more manageable property and weren't in a position to pack-up prior to selling. Hans was always positive an 'upfront' with us, and compromised with us to enable him to show the property to as many prospective buyers as possible, whilst allowing us to live our regular lives, and was able to secure the sale for us. He was prompt and fair in all of his negotiations with us, and, I believe, he achieved a sale that was acceptable to both buyer and seller. Considering the difficulty he had to overcome with selling such a cluttered property, we both believe he did a first-class job, with dignity, professionalism and good humour. We have no hesitation recommending Hans Brenkman for his expertise in real estate, but mostly for his ability to communicate with an honest opinion and smile. Thanks Hans.
