About Harit
As a principal and director at Century 21 Rooty Hill, it’s my privilege to help people get into their own properties, and I get great joy from handing the keys of a property to its new owners. Opening my own agency has given me the opportunity to continue working with the respected Century 21 brand as a business owner and engaged member of the local community.
Property has always been my choice of career – my father was a civil engineer and like him, I love bricks and mortar. After studying accounting, I completed a Master’s degree in commerce and professional accounting, then worked as an accountant for a few years. Following this, I moved into retail sales and customer service, and I retained ownership of a cafe and other retail businesses.
Real estate has been my career for six years, starting as a property officer I progressed all the way to the top as a senior property manager/business development manager. I was awarded best property manager in 2020 and 2021 while working with highly regarded agencies. I now have a portfolio of properties under management and excellent contacts with local developers.
As a real estate agent, I have excellent negotiation and marketing skills, along with extensive knowledge of Rooty Hill and the surrounding suburbs such as Plumpton and Glendenning. When selling a home, we will come up with a plan to market your home strongly, present it to property purchasers, and draw upon the extensive national Century 21 database to advertise it to home buyers.
My accounting background is a great help when monitoring market fluctuations and understanding my client’s home sales or investment priorities. Having worked across residential, property management, and sales, I have a broad skill set that’s equipped me with the ability to approach challenging situations with perspective and market knowledge. I have a wide range of contacts to draw upon when managing properties or listing homes.
My excellent communication skills are well received by clients – I am professional, polite, and quick to return phone calls and queries. Making deals quickly is another strength as is finding a win-win situation for all parties, whether a landlord and tenant or seller and buyer. My languages include English, Hindi and Punjabi and I am active in the local community with membership in the local rotary club and ongoing involvement in charity events and sponsorship.
