Selling your home needn't be distressing; so long as you choose an agent you trust
From a 1st appraisal of my home months before, Harriet kept in regular touch by email and the occasional phone-call. It was this attentiveness, without pressure, that led me to consider Harriet for my sale agent. In the final throes of choosing my agent I gave Harriet, and her colleague Alon Beran, a hard time by asking 'why them' vs their competition, and I'm very pleased to say I made (or was I sold?) a good choice.
I asked Harriet and Alon to be 'gentle with me' as I went through the stressful selling process. All along this request has been honored, we've worked well together, had a lot of fun and I feel I've achieved the best price possible at this point in time.
Harriet has been both personable and professional and has kept me fulling informed at all times. This has included liaising between me and my stylists or tradies, phone updates after Opens; feedback from prospective buyers; weekly strategy meetings; etc. And, although I wasn't there, we discussed what she would be saying to buyers to encourage them to remain keen and make an offer.
As a buyer of real estate I've often not been impressed by the attitude of sale persons. As a seller I need to work with people I can trust and with Harriet I got all of trust, commitment, expertise, openness, personality and a sense of fun.
