We were concerned in selecting a Real Estate Agent to act for us in selling our Townhouse in a depressed and very competitive market. We selected Haydn Denovan after research and because he was a family member of the well established and reputable Denovan's Real Estate Agency at Mitchelton. From our first meeting my wife and I clicked with Haydn. His approach was calm,honest and sincere and he gave credible advice. He worked hard in marketing our property through Open houses and follow up discussions with interested parties and was quick to give us feedback after each Open House. We talked regularly and made adjustments to suit the feedback and the current depressed market, resulting in a respectable Sale price that was a great result . We would recommend Haydn as an experienced Agent to market your property.

Whilst I was happy with Haydn's skills and professionalism I was certainly disappointed with the final sale price and length of time it took to sell the property. Had we had a better appreciation of how long it would take to sell the property and how much we would have to spent on renovations and then dropping the price, we probably would not have bothered to sell it at this time. I do think we were initially given an "over optimistic" view of the market and likely sale price to entice us to list the property. In the end it was empty for over 4 months as we gradually had to keep reducing the price to finally meet the market. I realise this is the way the "game" is played and does not particularly reflect on Haydn's integrity or professionalism. I was impressed with how Haydn stuck to the job despite little encouraging sign from the market and we did eventually manage to get an "acceptable" sale even if well under what we had hoped. I would not hesitate to recommend Haydn to others as a highly experienced agent who will work hard to get the best deal he can even in a very weak market.

Haydn was patient and supportive through a tough sale process. Would highly recommend.

What can I say about Haydn that probably hasn't already been said by others. From the moment we met him we immediately felt we were in good hands. The process of selling my mother's house was a totally stress-free experience, made so by Haydn's very caring manner, his professionalism and the fact mum's house sold in the first week of going on the market. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we sincerely thank him for that. Would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to sell their home.
