The house being 60+ years old there were some challenges which were met every time by Haydn with enthusiasm and nothing was too difficult during the process of preparing my mothers house, putting the house on the market and the process with the buyer when under contract. For myself and other family members, this was a very difficult time which Haydn made significantly easier with his support and advice.

Hey Haydn, You went the extra mile and were fantastic. You helped me when you could and when It was not really a requirement of you; friendly and always returned phone calls promptly. The one thing that I had difficulty with was the speed in which you relayed information to me regarding buyers' plans. I was confused as to when they were moving in. As you may remember I was struggling to gain early access to new house and failed even though it was verbally granted at the beginning. Also, as I explained, I had no cash and was reliant on my sister for help. She really fucked up with the cleaners and removalists which caused a backlash for me and new owners. Nevertheless I will not forget one family member of the buyers who was an absolute cow and was standing in what was still my house demanding that she had early access. I explained that it was verbal and only on the condition that I would still be moving out. This is where I lost it and regrettably took it out on the cleaners ( and the cow later). I left the buyers all receipts for improvements and warranties, a welcome bottle of bubbly and potted plant. I have bipolar (mild mixed effective state) and it all became too much. The onset of my illness was the closing of Humanities at QUT and my work as a Senior lecturer and co-ordinator for law and ethics to health care workers. Our home was beautifully presented for sale by you. You are very personable and tolerant. I have a few difficulties with new house but Adam from Dickies is helping me sort them out. Yes it is all working out and I would be happy to recommend you. Just remember to keep all communications lines open for both parties. During the crisis at the end you handled it professionally. The girls agreed that their mum, a life long resident of Enoggera, would want a local agent to sell her house. They chose Haydn. He showed them options in a sympathetic, professional and articulate manner. They didn't want the emotional cost of directly removing or demolishing their mum's home of 25 years. Haydn put it on the market on a Friday and had the successful bidder's contract on the Monday. The price was fair to both parties, giving the girls quick closure after a year of dealing with their mums loss and affording the developer a reasonable margin. Well done Haydn.
We had a very old, run down and difficult property to sell. Haydn overcame the difficulties and with his knowledge and pleasant working attitude, he managed to find a buyer in a very short period of time.
