You were contacted regarding when your deposit was going to be paid after a delay of a considerable amount of time to exchange the contract due to your financial institution. Real estate agents do not handle the settlement of a property, so if you do feel unhappy with the delay of settlement you need to discuss this with your financial institution and conveyancer.
