Whilst she supports her vendors and aims to get the best result for them, as a buyer, I found Heather was open and honest and to the point when informing me of any aspect of the property. I would rate Heather Steadman a 10 on all 4 of the above criterion. From the very first day of the sale campaign she had our best interests at heart and she actively campaigned to ensure there were at least a few prospective purchasers out there prepared to bid at the auction. I as the vendor, had done my homework and quickly realised there were a lot of properties coming on the market and that demand had dropped off a bit particularly from overseas buyers. Notwithstanding this, Heather and her team talked up the good points of the property and portrayed it as a good home to live in with huge development opportunities in the future. On the day of the auction there were two interested parties but the highest bid was well short of our preferred price. Heather then entered into negotiations with the highest bidder and after about an hour a deal was reached which saw us getting our preferred price. Her negotiation skills were superb and I would have no hesitation recommending her to friends and neighbours. In my opinion she is a valuable asset to Buxton Real Estate.
