In the last two years we've completed the most significant, and possibly the most difficult, move of our lives and lifestyles. We've downsized from Wakerley acreage to a Wynnum rental while waiting for our retirement unit to be renovated. In doing so we've experienced every facet of the real estate business, possibly a unique quad event!. We've known Helen through the Wynnum/Manly community for over twenty years so we approached her initially looking for 'something smaller, close to the waterfront'. She listened, understood and found us a three bedroom ground floor apartment right on the Esplanade. Absolutely perfect, priced right and purely through local knowledge. We needed the unit tenanted so we asked Helen to handle that too. A couple moved in two days later, rent was paid in advance and the unit occupied up until the week before we began renovations. Next step - sell the acreage, a unique and possibly difficult sale as well as a major financial move. We interviewed several agents before deciding Helen had to be our natural choice. She inspected the property, gave us great advice and organised the most hassle free sales experience ever. On the third half hour 'open day' Helen sold our property for a price that exceeded our expectations. It happened so quickly we had to find a rental while waiting for builders - once again, ask Helen. She found the ideal house, not an easy job as we had dogs, a boat, a classic car and we needed to be close to work in Wynnum. So that's our unique 'quad' - we've bought, tenanted, sold, and rented, all with our agent Helen Grunow. That's unique, but what's really unique is the level of professionalism, knowledge and experience that Helen brought to all these transactions. It's been a four month whirlwind during which Helen has calmly and methodically helped us achieve our goal. We are now comfortably housed and waiting for our renovations. Thanks to Helen - we can't recommend her enough!
