I recently purchased an acre of land in Tully through LJ Hooker Tully, which was my first solo purchase. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor communication and follow-up from my agent. After securing the contract, I heard very little from him, despite repeated assurances that the property would be slashed and mowed. This promise was never fulfilled, even after settlement, and I was forced to organise and pay for someone else to do the job. I found it particularly disappointing that I didn't receive a congratulatory call on settlement day, only a generic email a week later asking for a review. It felt like the agent's priority was securing the sale ( i get it, that's their job), and once that was done, I was left to fend for myself. The lack of customer care and aftercare was underwhelming, to say the least.
