Truly an all round awful, misleading, unprofessional & disgraceful experience selling with BOTH Hitesh and Karan from Capitol and Co in Thomastown . Hitesh has no respect for your privacy, rocking up and expecting open inspections with no notice, even LOSING our house keys and only letting me know when I told him to return them once we had a buyer. Oh but don’t worry he reassured me they would find our lost keys! Ha! Oh and they never found them and it was an absolute drama trying to get them to pay for the locks to be changed. Apparently my security and safety in not their priority? Hitesh stopped responding and his “mum” Karan would only return my calls by that’s stage. Bumbling fools who are at best ill equipped to sell anything except snake oil at best. Even then I wouldn’t trust them. Tried to scare us into accepting a low ball offer comparing us to another dump property they have for sale which took months to sell because you know what they do? They photoshop interiors. This was how we met these scammers. At that dump of a house they were selling which was beautiful in photos all well styled, we get there and when I say putrid - I mean putrid. As a potential buyer at that stage it should have been a red flag seeing how they mocked up a house that was so disgusting it was a knock down job. Deceptive at its finest. Our blurb on realestate.com had spelling errors galore and was poorly written with false features noted which I had to ask for them to fix. Hitesh is an absolute joke of an agent. We never got a board out the front and wow was it painful to have them deduct the cost from their marketing fee. Be warned. Using them to sell was the biggest mistake. Our house was lovely and a banana could have sold it.
