Liked all my dealings with Hus. Settlement key pick a bit messy, office staff a little vague ( wrote contact number incorrectly ) even though they had my contact details on file couldn't contact me, waited and waited for call . We had movers on standby paying them by the hour . I finally called THEM . Told of the glitch ( unable to contact) . Finally I was able to collect key , went to Seddon , only to find keys were in Newport office ( further inconvenience) . Bit shabby ..

Marketing strategy was appropriate for this property. No wasting time or money on pointless marketing. Communication was outstanding. Not at any time was there a sense of Huss playing a game or a role to achieve just the sale of the house. His feedback seemed spot on in relation to how the campaign was going. When he gained a sense that there were a few serious parties interested his confidence and positivity reflected this, which was reassuring without being unrealistic. I met Huss at an open for inspection, he stood out as a young, caring and energetic agent. I didn't know at the time that he ran the agency and was an auctioneer. I was impressed with his enthusiasm and personal care shown to me. I was happy to sign him for my sale. So far the experience with Village Real Estate has been positive, with help prior to the sale as in finding a surveyor - all new to us as novices in purchasing a house at auction. Also providing someone to 'hold our hand' at the actual auction. However, we are worried that we were originally told there was an arrangement in place with the owner of number 2 regarding the shared driveway, it now transpires that this is not the case. Whilst realising that it is mainly the solicitors vendors and ours who should have picked this up, tend to feel that some responsibility lies with the agent. Do not really feel one should be asked to write a review until after completion.

It was pleasure working with Huss who set our expectations appropriately and then went on to deliver the best value that was possible. Weekly communications by the team kept us informed on the turnout in the inspections and the feedback from the prospective buyers.
