Born in England, Iain fell in love with Australia while backpacking in the 1990s, finally settling for the quiet life on the Sunshine Coast with his wife and their three children in 2005. It’s a far cry from his previous career in IT and international business where he faced gruelling daily city commutes and jetting between Australia and the USA with a client roster including household names such as Nestle, Disney, General Motors, CBS and NBC.
The quest for new challenges and a change of pace landed Iain at Henzells Agency in 2013. He quickly asserted himself as one of the region’s leading consultants and now has hundreds of property sales over $200 million to his name. With a slew of industry awards including Agent of the Year each year since 2015/6, he’s consistently a number one suburb performer on realestate.com.au.
Away from work, Iain enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, camping/caravaning, bushwalking through the Glasshouse Mountains or hitting the local beaches.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Henzells Agency has forged strong links with the local Caloundra community since 1935, through the sponsorship and support of various charity and community groups.
The company is a regular supporter of a wide range of charity events, including the Leukaemia Foundation Shave for a Cure and the Salvation Army Walk for the Homeless among many others.
Through its involvement with the Pelican Waters estate, Henzells Agency has also been able to donate land to be auctioned to raise funds for various charitable causes, including the Youth Enterprise Trust and the highly successful 'House the Coast Built Auction' which raised close to $500,000 for the Sunshine Coast Health Services Foundation Cancer Therapy Centre at Nambour Hospital.
The Henzell family has also donated land for several important community facilities at Pelican Waters, including the Pelican Waters Bowls Club and an 11-hectare site for the establishment of Caloundra City Private School.
