Ian did a superb job of selling my home. Not only did he achieve a great price but I was even more impressed with his handling of a difficult and emotional situation. My husband of 64 years passed away during the sale of our home, and it necessitated a lot of extra work to make the sale happen. Ian was so courteous and respectful and did everything that was necessary (taking all the worry away from me). He knew exactly what to do and guided me through the process of lodging the death certificate, obtained and provided me with all the documents I needed to sign and guided me through the administrative dealings with the solicitors. There was also the added complexity of a caveat on the property which required the caveator's consent for the death certificate and for settlement. Ian dealt with everything, as each problem arose, he solved it and kept me informed every step of the way. Everything he did was clear and transparent. During all this time Ian also managed the buyers, keeping them fully informed of what was happening and ensured they stayed engaged and completed on the contract. He was nothing short of magnificent. Ian was such a calming influence during the whole transaction . He was so much more than a real estate agent…..You don’t find people like Ian every day!!
