I recently purchased and settled on a property with Ian Lay from Green House Realty Pinjarra representing the vendor. I don’t usually write reviews and provide feedback but I do believe in this instance it is important I provide feedback to let the community know about my personal experience as I do not want anyone to go through the same frustrating and ludicrous customer experience from Green House Realty. Settlement had to be pushed out because my chosen agent was unable to attend the property 1 week before settlement as the vendor had not fully completed works before the specified agreement. However, due to these last minute changes, Ian Lay offered to provide the evidence as a way to settle the property as soon as possible. It was misleading because it did not include all relevant photos and video evidence and only included partial evidence at settlement and I strongly believe this is very deceptive behaviour by Green House Realty. My chosen property agent was not allowed to enter the property as she was denied access 1 week before settlement due to works being done to the property. When my new property manager was able to collect the keys and provide a detailed report it was evident that internal cleaning was not completed and photo evidence was provided directly to Ian Lay as evidence. While Ian Lay initially tried to contact the vendor, he was not able to get through and passed on the vendor’s details to me to contact directly to compensate on the cleaning matter. I personally find that this lacks integrity and a real lack of professionalism as a realestate agent. I hope Green House Realty is able to learn from this and not make the same mistakes again as they will most likely lose loyal customers if people in the community are treated with disrespect.
