Covid-19 and its associated restrictions made this even more challenging. Ian was able to show us through a number of properties in a variety of price brackets so we could build our understanding of the market and better understand our requirements and how they fitted with the market. We liked Ian from the start. We found him extremely knowledgeable of the realestate in the area , down to earth, approachable and honest. We’d had two other agents in to value the house for sale and we were told by both we’d have to start in the range of $700.000’s to even get people to look at it. Maybe then we could hope for low 8’s. We did not agree as we had seen what others where getting in the market. Ian could see the worth in our house unlike others, he put the house up in the low 8’s to high 8’s and when the house went on the market we where in the first lockdown. We had over 30 people look and sold the house in about 6 weeks and it sat under offer for 3 days only before it was sold in the mid 8’s.
