We looked at a number of houses for sale in Bundaberg and were getting somewhat disheartened with what was on offer and, in some cases, the agents representing them. We met Adam by chance as he was showing the house to another prospective buyer. He welcomed us in to take a look. That house was not quite what we we're after, so Adam asked us what we were looking for and what our budget was. He suggested we take a look at one that he had just listed only that morning, and was not yet advertised online (being 2 days before Christmas). The house was just what we were after and we signed an offer that day and went to contract within the week. From there it was a breeze. Adam kept us in the loop with developments all the way to settlement. We'd been in our last house for thirty years and the prospect of buying another was daunting (plus we were moving from interstate).
