Ilona recently sold our house after we'd had a negative experience with another agent. Our house had sat on the market for months with no bites, and we had been advised to accept well under market value, which we were reluctantly considering. In a last ditch-attempt, we decided to go with Ilona, as we had heard good things from multiple neighbours. The contrast in experiences could not have been starker. From our first meeting, Ilona and her team were incredibly professional. They kept us informed about every single detail. Every. Single. Time. (At no stage was the communication overbearing.) We were never left guessing - every single lead was followed up, and honest feedback was provided to us promptly. Ilona struck a careful balance between being hungry, without scaring potential buyers away. She is honest and her advice is spot on. We never felt she was selling herself TO us - instead working in partnership WITH us. Her experience speaks for itself, as she came armed with a long list of qualified buyers on file - one of whom ended up being OUR buyer and paid almost half a million more than our previous agent told us we could achieve! Read: we didn't spend every weekend cleaning for endless open homes filled with looky-loo neighbours and unqualified leads (which we had repeatedly experienced previously despite our protests).
