It can be a bit daunting selling your home, but from the first meeting, Ingrid put me completely at ease. We laughed and chatted and periodically discussed the necessities of putting a house up for sale (with Leigh, the other half of the team, valiantly trying to steer us back to the matter in hand every now and then!). Much of that first conversation has gone out of my head now, but I recall lots of laughter as I kept remembering houses I'd sold in the last few years after telling Ingrid that no, I hadn't sold a house recently. It's a sign of a true professional that Ingrid didn't write me off as a nutter. Somehow Ingrid managed to be like a great friend and keep her professional hat on at the same time - a skill that seems easy but I know can be surprisingly difficult. Waiting to get to the stage for photographs must have be an exercise in patience (delays were all from my side), but I didn't feel pressured at any stage to move forward until I was comfortable to do so. With brilliant photos and advertising, huge numbers of people came out on a truly awful (weather wise) day for the open.
