We did not have the benefit of choosing Jack specifically for the transaction because we were the purchasers, and he was acting for the seller. That role did not impair our view of him as a real estate agent that acted in a helpful and professional manner. I recall we sent an enquiry to him on a Sunday because there were questions that crossed our minds then and we did not want to send only on Monday as we may forget about the questions. Voila, I got a call back from him within a couple of hours! The background has to be taken into consideration – it was a rising Sydney property market, and the property was very popular with prospective purchaser. In other words, many of us have seen how in a sellers’ market, the prospective purchaser can inadvertently be ignored because, shall we say, of larger ‘distractions” afforded to the seller. We purchased our property through online action (given the lockdown in Sydney) – Jack and his associate were very helpful all the way through. From registration, what to do on the day, during the process, and after the purchase. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience.
