We first met Jacob months before choosing to list. Our home is so unusual it was difficult for the realtors we contacted to value it. If I were to do this again I would have a property valuer come in and do a pre-sale valuation as my asking price guide. We went with Jacob as we connected with his passionate approach to selling our home. He didn't make any empty promises. He let us sit with the idea of selling our home till we were ready to list then he got back to us promptly. As we ran a home business Jacob suggested staging our house for the sale, which we did ourselves. This added additional cost and stress, our home was immaculately presented. Jacob was on time and worked around our availability. He kept the viewings within the time frame allotted. Jacob presents as professional, energetic, knowledgeable and honest. His team kept us informed and the system Freedom Realty has in place allowed us to stay current. We were fortunate that two sale contracts fell through due to the buyer's financial problems. The sale was completed under the third contract above the asking price that we decided was fair in the present economic conditions. We have sold homes before, this was the first time we were still living in the house while selling. This makes what is a difficult transition more stressful.
