Due to time constraints i needed to sell my house asap. Great campaign. I was told everything you would expect to hear, when someone showed interest, over the phone 'unofficial' offers , consistent scheduled open house etc etc. The last minute change to the price of the house made me feel less confident because the negotiation of the contract was non existent, it was going to be with what the agent wanted, and 2 days out of the auction I had no choice but to accept what he wanted, and i feel at this point the agent had acquired more information of a potential sale than he was letting on. There was a great result at the auction, but i feel that this could've been achieved by any agent for much less commission. I'm not entirely sure how the agent obtained a key to the property after the campaign was over because the lock box was removed after the auction, unless an extra one was cut without my knowledge during the campaign. I only found out by chance that they were 'letting themselves in' without my knowledge. This is unacceptable and a violation of privacy. There would have been no issue to go to the property should i have been notified. After their commission was paid, there has been no contact from this agent. Not even an acknowledgement that he had received the keys on settlement. If I'd known what i know now i would not have gone with this Agent, i could saved myself 10k-15k.
