Joining Ray White in 2013, James has worked in the property industry for over 20 years commencing with Raine & Horne International in 1990 1 week prior to his 17th Birthday as a Cadet Valuer. Working as a commercial leasing agent from 1991-1995 he was responsible for leasing numerous CBD and fringe projects on behalf of institutions, developers and private investors. Employed by Colliers Jardine from1996 –1998, he worked in Singapore, Vietnam (Manager of Ho Chin Minh City) and Hong Kong marketing new commercial and residential projects inaddition to providing consultancy to clients such as Telstra, Price Waterhouse, Coca Cola and Castrol. Returning to Australia he worked as a Project Leasing Coordinator for a new 18,000m² office development by Forrester Kurts Properties in Brisbane CBD until September 2001 when he joined Cornerstone Properties Limited as a Development Manager. Joining LJ Hooker Caboolture as Manager in March 2004 which was estabilished by his father Geoff Brown in 1975 until June 2013 when James became Prinicipal/Licensee and the business changed to Ray White Caboolture and subsequently opened Ray White Burpengary in March 2014. James has a broad and indepth range of property skills, knowledge and expertise. He is a Licensed Real Estate Agent & Auctioneer, holds a Graduate Certificate of Project Management and Master of Business Administration. In the past 2 years James has conducted over 100 Auctions in the local market. James enjoys raising a young family whilst exploiting the term 'Mid-Life Crisis' to enjoy motorbike trips through Vietnam, 4WD trips through the Northern Territory and Fraser Island fishing trips.
