James Marcou was genuine and 'straight up' throughout the entire process. Apart from the fact that his commission fees and advertising costs were a fraction of that of the more predominant agents in the Malvern East area, his market knowledge and prediction of sale price, matched that of my own. Now, whilst I'm not a realestate agent, I have kept a keen eye on what has sold in my area and for what price, ever since purchasing in 2003. I knew what the positives and shortcomings of my house were. I knew that the 'area' was my biggest draw card. These considerations were held also by James. Infact, james was honest enough to reveal to me at the end of our first consultation, 'Jim, you don't need an agent to sell your house, the area will do it for you'.
