Before selecting our agent we carried out a detailed assessment of a shortlist of three, and Lan-Dom came out clearly on top. They impressed us with their knowledge and experience of the local market, in particular for similar recent sales, and with their enthusiasm and personal qualities. They were happy to negotiate on their fee and to accept some minor amendments to the REINSW standard agreement (which is a rather poor piece of legal drafting, by the way). They also took a realistic approach to what marketing was really required, as opposed to what an agent might like to have.
