Like most agents these days, he charged a commission (2.5-3%), but also expects the seller to pay separately for advertising costs. Frankly, I fail to see what work he did to earn that. Now I have to read 20 pages of fine print on RateMyAgent to be allowed to give feedback, which has been asked for several times.
Despite some bumps in the process (buyer altering contract details and the changing economic climate i.e. Covid-19) it was a most satisfying transaction. I was kept informed from beginning to end. Excellent. I had prior experience with James and his agency.
