James was very professional, yet friendly and without the arrogance of some agents I've met during other house inspections in the past. He was able to present the whole campaign clearly and made it easy to understand. He kept me informed about all the attendances at each open house. When it came to an offer being made, he was able to explain the pros and cons of accepting the offer or still go on to an auction. James was able to go on to negotiate with other interested buyers and achieve a price that was higher than the initial offer. This was better than what I had expected. I would highly recommend James to anyone who is thinking of selling their property.

I've used Hudson McHugh (of whom James is a Director) for a couple of years. Firstly, to manage my elderly father's property as a rental then to sell. When I was looking for an agent to manage the property I made it clear that we wanted to rent the property then when the time was right sell it, and that if the agent did a good job managing the property, and we felt that we could trust them, then they would have first opportunity to sell it. I spoke to three agents (including one that is supposedly a friend of the family) and two lied to me about what rental return we could expect (presumably because they wanted to sell the house straight away). James gave us a very accurate assessment of what we could expect as rental income and when we decided to sell the house he did a superb job preparing it for sale and marketing it. The main thing I appreciated was the sharing of information and collaborative approach to selling. I was able to easily make decisions regarding how much we'd spend on the preparation of the property because I was getting accurate information. All up, we had a very good experience and would do the same thing if we had another property to sell.
