Having dealt with James Sexton of Sexton Glover Watts Real Estate, located at Mount Barker I have no hesitation in recommending his services for all facets of property transactions, whether it be Residential, Commercial or Rural Property. Whether it be buying, selling, renting or just providing advice, James has always been responsive, reliable,efficient and, more importantly, honest and forthright in all dealings, not only just recently but over many years.

We don’t like giving negative reviews but unfortunately in this instance it is called for. Right from the onset of us being interested in this land purchase communication was extremely poor to the point of non existent. We called the agent many times & followed up with text messages with no return response & this happened on many occasions. In the end we sent an email to another agent explaining this and had an almost immediate reply with soon after a reply from our agent too. All the way through the purchase communication was lacking to the point we almost pulled out. Unfortunately this wasn’t the only negative path to this purchase. We were told that there was power to the building site which we later found out to be untrue there was in fact no power on site with costs of many thousands to connect into. We were also told that the shed was concreted but with it being locked with previous owners possessions inside fully stocked - more thousands to completely redo floor as it’s extremely uneven concrete slabs laid on dirt not a concrete pad as told. Unfortunately the purchase of our dream parcel of land came with a very sour taste in our mouths with extremely poor communication & a feeling of complete unprofessionalism along with many thousands of extra out of pocket expenses. Unfortunately we wouldn’t recommend this agent.

James made the whole buying process simple. Everything was taken care of on time in a professional manner and we were kept up to date throughout the whole process. James' knowledge of the surrounding area was amazing. I would have no hesitation to buy or sell another property through James.

james has sold a number of our properties now and both Jodie and I are very thankful to James. He is honest reliable and a good friend to us.
