We first encountered James Weir when we engaged him to sell our property in April 2013. We found him to be the utmost professional in all respects. The promotion and presentation of the property on the website was particularly impressive, resulting in a contract within the first week. James kept us informed through all aspects of the settlement period. Following our recommendation, a neighbour listed his property for sale with the Weir Brothers. We subsequently listed an adjacent block of land and James erected the Weir Brothers 'For Sale' sign. One of the prospective buyers to the neighbouring property saw the sign and we had another successful contract the following day! I don't know whether the property even got to the website! We found James to be extremely personable and trustworthy, and would have no hesitation recommending the Weir Brothers to anyone wishing to deal in Real Estate.

We were very careful in our selection of a real estate agent and undertook significant research and discussions with real estate prospects before selecting the Weir brothers. What we were looking for were non hand wringing / jargon driven agents with one eye on a quick sale without listening to our needs. The fact we sold the house very quickly, without fuss for an amount we were very happy with, is testament to their skills in property negotiation. Using two brother agents might sound like overkill however the added bonus is you get the chance to " chew over" the marketing plan and both brothers have very different ideas which makes for a great debate and a better informed decision. Would we use them again, absolutely.

Both James and Steve worked really hard to get the best possible price for our property and conducted themselves with integrity. I highly recommend them to anyone who is selling their home.
