Jan was recommended by a friend who had sold properties through her in the past, and had recently sold their property quickly for a price greater than they expected. When we met Jan, she assessed our home and quickly suggested two options - salling quickly for a lower price or do some work and expect a much higher price. We decided on the second option, and things went relatively smoothly apart from events beyond anyone's control - a cyclone and an unusally wet season - which slowed tasks such as finding an arborist to deal with overhanging trees or indeed our doing some of the smaller tasks. We kept Jan informed of progress and when things had reached a state that the property could be formally listed for sale, she gave further advice on finishing touches. The property was listed and offers were received shortly after the first 'open house', when a contract was signed giving the higher price Jan had originally suggested. She then kept us informed of the progress of the various inspections etc until final settlement. Jan's obvious experience, knowledge and ongoing support gave us confidence in what can be difficult and even frightening process.
