We sold our property at Fern Tree in November 2019, with Jane our initial point of contact. The process was fairly painless, and the house attracted a good offer after the first open-house. In general we found the communication from Jane was good, and we spent a minimum of time worrying about the sale. I don't have much, if anything, to criticise. There was a little confusion about which property was ours as we received some correspondence about a different house. On the other hand, the photos and brochure that they made... made our house look fantastic. I think, in balance, we got good value for money on the commission charged; the property sold quickly, we had few hassles and did not have to spend much time handling things ourselves. The brochure/photography was excellent, and the personal interaction was fine. I understand Jane's role is not only to act on behalf of the vendor, but also to be realistic about prices and to push for a resolution. This was done mostly with consideration and courtesy. The only issue I did not particularly find satisfying is when a second person from the agent became involved without my prior agreement/approval. But that's relatively minor - because in fact all my dealings were with Jane. If I had to sell the house again, I'm happy to say that I would not hesitate to go through the same process and once again select Jane as my agent. She does seem to understand the market well, and was very responsive to my questions and directions.
