Janet kept me up to date and managed "waiting for probate" professionally, keeping both sides informed. Throughout the whole process Janet communicated regularly and went "above and beyond" what I had anticipated an agent would do. Setting price was a challenge as so few similar properties had sold in the last few years - the range set was reasonable but tended to the high side, in my view, although an independent valuer came in with the same range, hence my 4 stars! I'm not sure that is fair!! The price she negotiated was at the low end of the professional range but more than I had anticipated and one I was happy to accept. Janet made the process so stress free. Her manner was approachable and friendly. I can not speak highly enough of Janet's services and should I ever need to sell another property would approach her as my agent.

Its not often that I would highly recommend a Real Estate Agent. Over the years I have dealt with many and have become a demanding taskmaster that many find a little difficult to deal with. Our experience with Janet would have had many lesser salespersons a little bewildered as we walked into Smallacombes office and asked to speak to a salesperson. We were introduced to Janet and informed her that we were from the country , didn't have time for small talk and had a property we wanted to sell. She asked when could she inspect the house and was informed "Right now". Although she had other commitments she changed them and we met at the property. When do you want to put it on the market she asked ? Now, if your the right person tell me what you suggest in marketing etc. To cut a long story short Janet came up with plan that we both agreed with and within a couple of weeks of advertising and preparation we had 7 offers in 7 days and all well above what we thought was achievable !!!
