Janet has always had a love of real estate. While she has extensive experience outside of the property world including a stint in TV broadcasting and over 20 years in the retail sector, her constant dabbling into real estate finally brought on a career change; and she has never looked back.
Born and raised in Shanghai and having lived in Melbourne for over 26 years, Janet’s enthusiasm and passion for what she does is infectious when clients meets her for the first time, and her values of honesty, reliability, and complete customer service fit perfectly with the philosophy of Follett & Co.
Janet prides herself on her people skills, and loves nothing more than matching the right home to the right buyer. She endeavors to make sure that all her clients are completely satisfied, and the smile on the face of a contented buyer or seller means more to her than getting a quick sale or high commission.
Also fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Shanghai dialect, Janet adores everything arts and culture, from listening to Pavarotti and Bartoli, to extensively travelling around Asia and soaking in its rich history. She also enjoys attending antiques auctions, swinging the golf clubs on the weekend, and spending time with her family.
