Purchased vacant land East Gippsland

The star rating is asking the wrong question. It should ask responders to rate their overall experience not rate the agent's work knowledge. I have no doubt Jason knows his job. Hence the four stars. The estate agent is the vendors advocate. Jason did his job. The vendors ought to be ecstatic with the outcome they got. As the buyer I had a very different outcome. Building my dream home never got beyond buying the land. My family has links to Gippsland but not East Gippsland so I can't claim local knowledge. I'm an outsider. It turns out there are a limited number of small operators in East Gippsland calling themselves builders. I approached all of them. Most ignored me. Repeatedly failed to return phone calls or answer emails. What replies I got could be summed up by......"too busy, not interested, we don't build there...click" If they wanted to create a terrible impression they achieved that in spades. I would not trust those "people" (I could use other words) to assemble flat pack furniture much less build my dream home.
