We came to know of Jay when my childhood friend migrated to Perth from the UK and purchased a house in my neighbourhood thru Jay. He told us it was a smooth process with Jay from start to finish. Jay eventually recommended we view the house we eventually bought and we came in on budget. As first time buyers in Australia Jay ensured we had all the information to have everything in place when the time was right to make an offer. Offer process was transparent and settlement went through very smoothly with everything from the House report being attended to in record time. From the very first meeting with Jay we felt extremely comfortable and never hesitated to sign up with Jay to sell our home of 38 years. As it was a big learning curve for us Jay was very knowledgeable and supported us throughout the process
We find Jay a professional property consultant who knows his job. He advised us to do a few things to our property so that we can get a higher value for it - eg take down the partitions to the house, give it a new coat of paint, change the carpets, tidy up the garden, let the cleaners clean the house and finally do the staging. As we are foreigners and do not have limited time in Perth, he advised us to meet the settlement agent to have our signatures in their record so that we do not have to be in Perth when the property is sold. He is also reliable and has a good assistant Jamie Bentall and a team of contractors working hand in hand with him. We just leave everything to him and he co-ordinate with them to do the work and everything went on as planned. We were very happy with the staging - it makes our house very beautiful and looks very classy. We were not in Perth when the Open House was held but we heard from friends who went there he did a good job by providing potential buyers a good briefing of the house. Two days after the Open House he got an offer to buy the house. That was quick and unexpected. He continued to keep us posted about the outcome. He was also a responsible agent - when our fence and side gate collapsed during a storm he called us and advised us to call the home insurance to report and send a claim then he took over the job to contact the home insurance agent, got a contractor to repair the fence and gate. Our settlement date was delayed because of this but he followed up with the issue until the fence was repaired and finally the settlement was done. Our conclusion of Jay Das is - he is a professional, reliable and responsible property agent. We will not hesitate to recommend him to our friends if they are selling their properties.
I do not usually leave reviews however, I believe that Jay deserves a lot of credit for the service he provided to Jillian and I when we purchased our first property in Australia. Jay was always happy to answer any queries that we had about the property and dealt with any issues promptly and professionally he clearly enjoys what he does and that shoes with the level of service he provides.
